i am taking advantage of the fact that i woke up on new year's day buzzing with ideas, thoughts, goals, intentions, however you want to label it, for the coming year. i have a few personal ones i've written down just for me, but i'm sharing a few here to keep myself accountable. so it shall be written, so it shall be done (or something).
1. a blog makeover: i have been putting this off for ages, telling myself i didn't have the budget for it. while i didn't suddenly come into some money, i think i need to make this a priority asap.
2. get rid of stuff. like a lot of stuff. i have too much stuff!!! and then organize the stuff i keep.
3. finish the picture album project i started 3 years ago: selecting about 100 pictures each year, printing them, and organizing them into identical albums. the albums are purchased; the pictures, not so much.
4. take a graphic design and/or photoshop class. oh, and buy photoshop or similar. i need to make my posts snazzier!
5. open my etsy shop. eek, this is a big one. i'm scared of declaring this, but all the more reason to, right? i have owned an a spot of whimsy shop on etsy for over 2 years and not put up a single product. over the last 6 months, i have done some serious brainstorming on this front and think i am ready to move forward. here. we. go.
