much love monday.

i like to use monday as a way to reflect on the previous week, to start anew, and to send a little love into the world.  won't you join me?
today i am grateful for:

mothers everywhere, and, in particular, for my own!

pictures worth a thousand words:

 {the windy city, indeed}

 {reaping the benefits of april's showers}

 {derby fun}

this week's blog love:
  • i have been in love with "heidi" braids since i was a little girl.  can't wait for my hair to grow out a little more so i can try a cup of jo's new tutorial!
  • say hello to spring in central park through the always stunning photography of jamie at from me to you.
  • the lace wedding dress trend - thanks to the lovely catherine middleton, i mean, duchess of cambridge - will no doubt be everywhere next season, but it is already in full swing in this collection of elizabeth fillmore gowns over at coco + kelley.
  • big fan of amelie?!  (who isn't) then you'll love these photos of a traveling red doll, ala a certain whimsical garden gnome, on a glimpse of glamour.
  • casee marie of the girl who stole the eiffel tower gives us a brilliantly and beautifully written tribute to audrey hepburn, in honor of her birthday.
here's to another grateful and love-filled week.
