girl of the moment: amanda seyfried

*quick announcement: i'm guest-posting at the creative place today!
(my first guest post ever, yay!)
if you're a newer reader of a spot of whimsy, be sure to check out this tutorial i did back in the fall!*

miss amanda is everywhere these days.  she had me way back at "i'm a mouse, duh." (mean girls), and although i love re-imaginings of classic fairy tales, red riding hood likely falls into the rental category for me.  but she also just happens to have been on a flurry of recent magazine covers with some gorgeous accompanying photographs.

i know not everyone agrees, but i love amanda's unique beauty - what big eyes you have, indeed, and her recent editorial for elle showcased her looks well.

the almost-victorian feel of amanda's recent interview shoot also suited her arresting features.

read amanda's interview with interview (by justin timberlake, no less) here

but the miss came in marie claire uk.  there was unfortunately nothing special about it.  see my "favorite" of the lackluster photos below.

i have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of miss seyfried in the coming years!

  1. I think she's stunning. I like when celebrities aren't cookie-cutter. She has a mythical beauty almost. Plus, I feel like she's much more down to earth, especially after I read about her anxiety. I feel like I can relate to her more.
