well, chicago survived blizzard 2011! after my 25 minute commute took 90 minutes on tuesday afternoon, i watched the storm unfurl from my apartment windows, and just...wow. intense. i was fortunate enough to have a snow day yesterday (thank you for closing for the day, work!), and ya know what? i miss snow days. they're the best. after the snow stopped yesterday afternoon, the bf and i took a walk through lincoln park to survey the damage. news flash: it snowed a LOT. if only snow was as glamorous as the new elie saab couture collection. those dresses could turn anyone into a snow queen.
