rise and fall.

it's been one whole year since GM filed for bankruptcy.  to those not from the mitten, that doesn't really mean a lot, i know.  but for those of us made in michigan, june 2, 2009 was tough.  real tough.  but we're still here.  and GM?  it's still here too.

"there is nothing fun here, nothing good about bankruptcy.
but nothing shocking, either.  history is full of this lesson.  all fall down.
what defines you is not how you fall, but how you get up."

  1. And within a year we came out of bankruptcy and everyone who isn't here says oh yes the big 3 are fine. They are not going under but everyone needs to ponder how they paid back their debts... by having to fire thousands who worked for a company for 30+ years and were forced to retire without a pension. The big 3 still need us to BUY AMERICAN- General Motors, Ford Motor Company and Chrysler!!! :)
