Fall Fridays | All Hallow's Read 2013.

Here's my annual post dedicated to bringing All Hallow's Read to the masses (or at least my readership).  My original post on the newish tradition can be found here.

I chose to give C The Magicians by Lev Grossman this year, which is supposed to be more magic/fantasy than dark/scary, but I think it still fits the bill!  Other suggestions: The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman, The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury, anything Stephen King, and of course Dracula.  Here's Neil Gaiman's Recommendations as well.

If you have not already, give it a try this year; there's still plenty of time to get in the Halloween spirit, and it's always a good thing to give (and get) a book as a gift!

La la la it's Friday!  What are you up to this weekend?  My mom and sis are on their way to Chicago for more wedding dress shopping (and just for some fun in the city!), and we get to cheer on some friends on Sunday in the Chicago Marathon!  (Go Lauren, Go!)

Have a wonderful weekend.
