a little bit wicked.

guess who is seeing wicked for her 4th time tonight?!  yup, that's right, this girl.  and yes, i'm a little bit obsessed!  (did you forget about my kristin chenoweth girl crush?!)  i'm keeping my streak alive of only going with someone who has never seen it before.  this time: the bf, c.

i'm so excited to not only see it again myself but to share the experience with him.  if you've seen this musical yourself  - "the untold story of the witches of oz" - then you know how magical it is and how fun the "reveals" of the show can be - not to mention the genuinely moving lyrics.  my favorite?  it's not one of the really popular (yes, pun intended!) songs of the show, but instead glinda's honest look at herself in "thank goodness."

"i couldn't be happier, simply couldn't be happier.  well - not "simply."
cause getting your dreams it's strange, but it seems a little - well - complicated.
there's a kind of a sort of: cost.  there's a couple of things get: lost.
there are bridges you cross you didn't know you crossed until you've crossed.
and if that joy, that thrill doesn't thrill you like you think it will,
still - with this perfect finale the cheers and the ballyhoo,
who wouldn't be happier?  so, i couldn't be happier
because happy is what happens when all your dreams come true.

well, isn't it?
