behind the scenes.

with the finale of mad men's season 4 coming up this sunday, october 17, i thought i'd take my one last opportunity for awhile to show you all some fantastic tidbits from the show.  this time: photos from rolling stone's behind the scenes look at the set from the september tv issue.

{awesome fusion of past and present here}
{oh man, do i want that wardrobe!}
 {john slattery ("roger sterling") tried his hand at directing for the first time this season}

 "I don't need to relate to her," January Jones says of Betty Draper, the show's most unsympathetic character. "The biggest obstacle for me is not to judge her."

  1. Oh, this post is so beautiful but I do not want to think about how close the finale is! Haha. I'll miss this show so very much. This season has been especially fantastic.

    I love all of these pictures! I really enjoyed John's direction, too. It was fun to see how he'd handle the show. (:

  2. fabulous post! i'm the last person on earth to get on board, but am just now making my way through season 1. although it will just prolong the inevitable end, right? :)

  3. casee marie - i know, i'm going to be so sad on sunday night! and agree, i've loved john slattery's direction this season!

    tilly maison - exactly, you'll still be watching new (to you) episodes while we're all waiting IMpatiently for season 5 to start :) ps just became a follower of your blog, i love what i'm seeing!

thanks so much for the note! i love reading your comments. xo. di.
