Big Girl Dress-Up.

Oh my, what a weekend!  It was exactly the bachelorette celebration I wanted but somehow even better, because my ladies committed so awesomely to the Gatsby theme, because we had perfect weather, and because my sister did just an incredible job of planning it all out in advance to just the right degree.

We arrived at different times on Friday (not helped by the insane thunderstorms that passed from Chicago to Detroit that night), but don't worry, since we stayed up until 4 a.m. (whatttt I never do that anymore) we all got in lots of chatting and marg-drinking time :)

On Saturday we woke up to this (once we finally got ourselves out of bed!):

And as the sun began to set, it was time to get Gatsby'ed.

{Orchids for Daisy}
{High School Ladies}
{Sister/Matron of Honor}
{College Roomie}
{Law School Gals}
{The whole group!}
{Impromptu Charleston!}

And after all of this:

It was indoor photo booth time!

The classiness did not last long.  But you know what?  It didn't really at Jay Gatsby's parties either!

Sunday morning came all too soon.

And then it took a full 2 days to recover completely ;)

Have a wonderful weekend.

It's a Party, Old Sport!

My bachelorette party, to be more precise, with a small substitution of the shores of Lake Michigan for East Egg and West Egg.  My sister has planned the whole thing (including these amazing invitations by Peace Love Design) with very little input from me, so I'm extra excited to see the weekend unfold!  It's our big summer blow-out (hoo-hoo!).

We are just under a month to the big day.  Cannot believe it and cannot wait to see all these months of planning come together.

Have a wonderful weekend.
