Where in the World?!

Unlike Ms. Sandiego, I haven't dashed off to parts unknown.  I'm still right here.  It's just summer.  And I've found myself with a second full-time job (planning our wedding).  That's not an excuse, more of an explanation :/  I'm going to try a little harder going forward to share at least one thing of interest per week.  And I am sorry for the silence.  Hope you're still here.

And here's what I've been up to over the last month:

Glimpses.

{We bought tickets through How About We to the Museum of Contemporary Art's Tuesdays on the Terrace and it was so lovely.
Outdoor jazz music, dinner & dessert by Wolfgang Puck and a bottle of wine.  It was an amazing summer evening}
{We walked home through Lincoln Park after}
{Putting the panoramic setting to good use at the ceremony of longtime family friends and neighbors}
 {Blondes having more fun at cocktail hour}
{Gorgeous Lovett Hall at the Henry Ford & Greenfield Village}
{Having way too much fun}
{Crary-Picmann-Flemings at Alissa & George's Wedding}
 {Parents cleaning out basement = photographing old school projects so they can finally be disassembled and thrown out :)
I was a big Little House on the Prairie fan}
 {Childhood bed got a major upgrade.  That "F" pillow was a handmade gift received at my shower.
Until I have the right place for it where it won't be damaged, it's fitting in beautifully here}
{Is this invite not completely amazing?!}
{Our gift to our shower host - I went for a summer BBQ theme :)}
{Superhero theme rendered awesomely; Accidental twinsies!  Brother-in-law and Fiance}
{Our fabulous hosts' amazing book wall for their daughter.  I'm in awe.}
{ZOMG Doughnut Vault}
{Last of the season?!}
 {New beautiful towels received at showers :)}
{WHAT?!}
 {4th of July sangria!}
{Whole family at our friends' annual 4th of July BBQ}
{Sis & brother-in-law finally finished reading the Harry Potter books, so we all got to watch the final movie
together with homemade Butterbeers in hand}
{Practicing wax seals for invite purposes}
{Team Deutschland!  What an awesome World Cup (and yes that is my Gryffindor scarf repurposed and put to good use hehe}
